I just wanted to let all of you Baden-Württembergers know that I will be coming your way in March and am available for sessions! I will be there the 3rd weekend (either Friday-Saturday or Staturday-Sunday). I already have 1 (maybe 2) sessions booked, but I can fit a few more in. Usually I would charge a travel fee for sessions outside of my 60km radius, but I am willing to divide it up so no one gets stuck paying the whole fee…that means the more sessions I have, the less you have to pay.

A few posts down, I put out a ‘casting call’ for newborns, offering complimentary sessions… so if you will have a baby under 10 days old (I will be more flexible in this case) then you can also take part, and will only have to pay the travel fee…the session is still complimentary (150€ value)!

I would also be willing to book mini-sessions… mini sessions will last 30min, and will cost 25€, with a minimum print purchase of 100€. The only requirement for this is that there needs to be a minimum of 5 mini-sessions scheduled.

Another option would be a portrait party. A portrait party works like this… you are the host of the ‘party’ and provide a location (either your home, or somewhere outdoors) and invite your friends and relatives who might be interested in a mini-session. There is no fee for this and no minimum order, but I require atleast 10 participants including yourself. Then the more your guests order, the more free prints, discounts and other goodies you get!

And anyone who signs a model release, regardless of the type of session, is entitled to 15% off of all prints and products, except cards and announcements.

Here are a few questions and concerns I’ve received about the Boudoir Marathon so far. Let me know if I’ve missed anything!

• Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely! Friends are great for moral support, and if they’ll make you feel more comfortable and help you loosen up, then definitely bring them along! Of course there won’t be room for your whole group of friends, but 1 or 2 are more than welcome!

• Will you photograph couples as well?
Sure! As long as you keep it tasteful I have no problem if you want pictures with your boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife whatever!

• What should I wear?
Whatever you want! As long as its something you are comfortable in and it makes you feel great, then its perfect!! But really…anything goes…sexy lingerie, fish nets, heels, men’s button down shits and ties, even cute shorts and fun knee highs! If you want these pictures for someone special, its always fun to include something of theirs in the shoot… a favorite hat, a jersey from his/her favorite sports team, etc.

• If I sign the model release, will I appear on a billboard somewhere?
This is definitely a legitimate concern, but no… you won’t show up on a billboard! The model release just allows me to use your photos in my portfolio (web or printed), and for any promotion I might do for future Boudoir work.

• Will my name also be published if I sign the release?
Nope! I wouldn’t want a future employer to google your name and finding these pictures!!

• I’m not sure if I can make it on the 25th, when will the next marathon be?
Honestly, I won’t know if there will be another marathon until after this one. You can book a standard boudoir session with me at anytime, but there won’t be an awesome hotel suite or make-up artist included.

• How do I know you aren’t just some internet weirdo?
This is also a valid concern this day in age, but I assure you, I’m legit of course thats just what an internet weirdo would say, but I can provide references!

Back in the fall I wanted to setup a Boudoir Marathon…well it involved a bit more organization and planning than I anticipated, and a bunch of people expressed interested in taking part after the holidays, so I put the idea on hold…until now.

Now I know Boudoir is still an unfamiliar term for many people, so let me try to explain what it is… to me its sexy, seductive photos done in a VERY tasteful manner. It is NOT nude photography… I like to leave things up to the imagination. Boudoir can really go in a few different directions… it can be anything from cute and fun to sexy and seductive depending on your personality and what you are comfortable with! Boudoir sessions are tons of fun! They are great if you want to do something out of character, or just want to feel extra glamorous for a day! They make great presents to yourself or for someone special in your life!

I am looking for 3 newborns to add to my portfolio, so I’m offering a complimentary 2-4hr session (150€ value) + 8×10in print of your choice for the first 3 people to contact me! I only require a signed model release and a deposit of 25€ which will then be applied as a print credit to reserve your session. All prints and images (including high resolution digital images) will be available for purchase at 20% off listed prices, but there is no obligation to buy.

The session must take place by August 15th, and the baby must be younger than 10 days old at time of session. It is also important to understand that newborn sessions require a lot of patience. When I schedule your session, I make sure not to have any other obligations that day and you should do the same. This is because your baby will ‘lead’ the session and depending on his/her mood the session can take up to 4 hours. This is also why it is so important for the baby to be under 10 days old…the younger they are the more sleepy and cooperative they will be. The older they get, the more curious they become and  can be very alert and often fussy, which makes it almost impossible to get them into cute, snuggly positions.
